Prior to Pop-A-Lock, Tony worked as the Director of Client Services for Optiron Corporation, Tony directed cross-functional activities with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Technology on behalf of our clients to ensure successful delivery, implementation and on-going management of client relationships. In this role, Tony worked closely with regulated and unregulated retail, distribution, and ISO entities to architect business solutions to meet the billing, customer care, financial management, transaction management and meter data needs. In addition, Tony managed strategic initiatives, profitability, and new business development activities related to future directions to anticipate and meet client needs.

Prior to joining Optiron Corporation, Tony worked for Lodestar Corporation as the Director of Solutions Architecture. Tony directed the architectural implementation of the Lodestar product suite to address the needs of clients in the new market economy. While at Lodestar, Tony published an industry white paper entitled Component-based Applications are Giving Companies the Edge in Deregulated Markets. The paper was presented at the Distributech Conference in Berlin, Germany.

Previous to Lodestar, Tony spent 17 years with Shell Oil Company as an architect for various Shell projects both in the continental U.S. and Mexico. Most recently Tony served as the chief architect for Shell Energy Services where he architected and created Shell Energy’s back office IT systems and operations, servicing 325,000 customers the first year with $300 million in revenues. He led the back office operations segment during the massive customer growth period and through the acquisition of another company’s customer base. Worked with Marketing, Supply, Call Centers, Finance and Customer Care to define and implement the business processes. Shell Energy went from concept to revenue generation in one year.

While at Shell, Tony won multiple Special Recognition awards for achievement above and beyond expectations. Several were related to innovation and implementation of technology within Shell. Others were related to job dedication and leadership of staff to achieve superior results. He also was a speaker at the “META Group, Harnessing E-Business to Empower the 21st Century Energy Company Conference” – where he represented Shell Energy in the conference and presented Shell’s experience with implementation of Enterprise Applications.

Tony earned a B.S. degree from University of Southern Mississippi in 1983.
