Sometimes the locks work fine but look like they belong in a different decade. Sometimes the finish is worn, the hardware feels loose, or you’re just ready for an upgrade. Sometimes you’re adding a deadbolt that was never there. Whatever brought you here — we install it correctly and make sure it works before we leave.
Standard and upgraded residential deadbolts, knob sets, and lever sets. We carry builder-grade hardware for straightforward replacements, and higher-end Yale and Emtek hardware for customers who want a step up in quality, finish, or appearance.
Keypad deadbolts and app-connected smart locks. We install hardware you provide — Kwikset, Schlage, Yale, and most major brands. We program the unit, configure access codes, pair the app, and confirm everything works before we’re done.
Already have a smart lock but need it reconfigured? Forgot your code, moved in with an existing keypad, or need to add and remove users? We handle programming and resets for all major smart lock brands.
If your existing hardware is in good working condition and the issue is security — someone has a key who shouldn’t — rekeying is almost always the better call. It’s faster, less expensive, and doesn’t touch the hardware.
New hardware makes sense when the existing locks are worn or damaged, the finish has seen better days, you’re ready for an aesthetic upgrade, or you want to add a deadbolt where one doesn’t currently exist. We’ll give you an honest answer when you call.
We stock Yale and Emtek hardware at our Bartow location — quality residential locks in a range of finishes. If you’re upgrading and want to see options before you decide, stop in or call ahead. For smart locks, source your hardware from a quality brick-and-mortar retailer or trusted supplier before your appointment. We recommend name-brand hardware — off-brand locks from online marketplaces are often difficult to rekey, may use non-standard keyways that make replacement keys hard to find, and don’t hold up the way quality brands do.

Every lock is tested before we leave. Smart locks are fully programmed, app-paired if applicable, and confirmed working. You get the keys — or the code.
Yes, and it’s important to tell us upfront when you call. Installing a deadbolt on a door without an existing one requires boring new holes in the door and frame. We need to know this before we schedule so we can confirm we have everything the job requires and quote you accurately.
We stock builder-grade residential hardware and higher-end Yale and Emtek hardware at our Bartow location. For smart locks, we recommend picking up your hardware at a quality retailer before your appointment — we’ll install and program whatever brand you choose. If you already have hardware you want installed, bring it.
If the hardware is in good condition and the issue is security — someone has a key who shouldn’t — rekeying is the right answer. It’s faster, less expensive, and doesn’t require any modifications to your door or frame. New hardware makes sense when locks are worn, damaged, or you want to upgrade the appearance or functionality. We’ll tell you honestly which makes sense when you call.
We install most major brands — Kwikset, Schlage, Yale, August, and others. We don’t stock smart locks in-shop due to the range of models and finish options, so source your hardware from a quality brick-and-mortar retailer or trusted supplier before your appointment. Stick to recognized brand names — off-brand smart locks from online marketplaces are often poor quality, can be difficult to program consistently, and don’t hold up to everyday wear the way name brands do.
