Duties

- Install locks, deadbolts, and other locking devices

- Modify/repair locks, deadbolts, and other locking devices

- Generate new keys/make duplicate keys

- Respond to emergency calls to open locked vehicles, homes and businesses

- Carry out work in both residential and commercial environments
Qualifications

- Good vision, spatial perception, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity

- Basic math skills

- Basic knowledge of electricity and electronics

- The ability to learn and understand locks, alarms, access control systems, etc.

- The ability to work with others and without supervision

- The ability to work outside

- The ability to follow directions

- The ability to work nights and weekends
