Pop-A-Lock was founded in 1991 when local law enforcement agents in Lafayette, Louisiana, recognized the need for a car locksmith in their community. Since then, Pop-A-Lock has grown to become the largest professional locksmithing franchise in the world that spans across two continents. And even though we’ve grown, we’ve never forgotten what got us here: dedication to customer service, quality work, and great prices. Even our original location in Lafayette now serves as a state-of-the-art training facility to make sure our locksmiths are the best in the business, so you can see that everything we do is done with the customer in mind.

While our main focus is on emergency automotive locksmith services, we offer a full range of services for your home and business security. In addition, we are proud to have created the Emergency Door Unlocking (EDU) Program – a free community service dedicated to saving children who are inadvertently locked in vehicles.
